MAISON OLIVIER
Our recently (fully) renovated 'Maison Olivier' is definitely a French cool & charming holiday home for 2 to 12 people. Maison Olivier is built from the typical old natural stones that you find everywhere in the artists' village of Cornillon. The oldest part of this house dates back to the 15th century. You enter Maison Olivier through the large gate where your eye will immediately fall on the breathtaking view from the garden. This large garden is partly enclosed by the old city wall. At the pool you lie completely in privacy, but at the large dining table you can enjoy a fantastic view over the valley.
Via an old stone staircase you enter the 1st floor:
- a cozy lounge with a spacious corner sofa and the many windows give a direct view of the valley. Adjacent a spacious open kitchen with a large dining table for 12 people.
- 2 bedrooms, 1 bedroom with bathroom en suite, with separate toilet, sink with mirror, washing machine and dryer.
- an attractive bathroom, spacious shower, 2 sinks and separate toilet
- a narrow cozy covered terrace with an old church pew
On the 2nd floor :
- 3 spacious bedrooms + landing area with two single beds. There are 2 bedrooms + landing connected here, so walk-through is via other bedroom. This gives the old house a playful effect.
- a bathroom with shower, 1 sink and mirror, a separate toilet.
(On the ground floor are the old caves (these are closed)
Maison Olivier is located in a unique artists' village. What makes Maison Olivier unique is the very quiet location.
Outside you will find a lovely, large garden with a sublime view. There is a beautiful swimming pool here
750 x 390 with a cozy lounge area and 6 sunbeds. The pool has a fence for the safety of the children.
The beautiful garden has a few olive trees, a jeu de boule court and of course the large dining table.with views over the valley. You will find sun and shade all day long here. Maison Olivier is located in a very quiet area.
There is a beautiful walking area around Cornillon, and the La Cèze river is just 2.5 kilometers away. And with 4 km you are already in center of Goudargues. The nearest supermarket is at the foot of the village, 2 km away. The village is car-free (mandatory) parking in parking lot = 200m from the house), the streets are very tight. You can come to the house for loading and unloading. On the central square near the church there is also a new playground with fun play equipment for the children.
The spacious open kitchen is fully equipped with gas stove, cooking zones/burners, extractor hood, cutlery & crockery, toaster,
Nespresso machine, fridge-freezer, cooking utensils, microwave, oven, dishwasher and a kettle.
Bedrooms: 3 bedrooms have a double bed, 200 x 160 cm. In 2 bedrooms there are two
single beds, 200 x 80 cm and this also applies to the so-called overflow space. There are 12 sleeping places in total.
Internet, WiFi, television, music dock station, books, games.
Outdoor facilities: narrow covered terrace, large garden, large swimming pool, outdoor lighting, six sun loungers,
six garden chairs, spacious garden table for 14 people, plancha. In the garage there is a room with various fitness equipment.
